Thomas W. Kelly (no local burial found) was a Santa Cruz merchant in the late 1800s-early 1900s. His wife Alice was a daughter of Henry Gardner. The Kellys' Green Street residence was near (as the crow flies) to the former site of the Gardner home, which was demolished in 1964 to make way for the Chestnut Street extension. The news clip at right is from 1953.
