The Roaring Camp attraction is built around a heritage steam-powered narrow-gauge railroad that operates on a closed loop within the property. Roaring Camp has historical displays and event spaces, and also operates the Big Trees & Pacific "Beach Train" that operates between Felton and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, following a route parallel to the San Lorenzo River originally established by the Santa Cruz & Felton (SC&F) Railroad in 1874.
