Felton is an unincorporated community in the Santa Cruz Mountains, on the San Lorenzo River north of Santa Cruz. Its main road is Highway 9. Felton was established by Edward Stanly, attorney to Isaac Graham, who acquired the extensive Rancho Zayante land holdings after Graham's death in 1863. Horace Gushee was involved in early town development. Felton was briefly incorporated in the 1880s, and has its own Post Office - Zip Code 95018.
