Pacific Avenue

Pacific Avenue is the main commercial street in downtown Santa Cruz. Originally the eastern boundary of the mission agricultural area and part of the road from the mission complex to the cargo-landing area at the main beach, and later known as Willow Street, Pacific Avenue became the official name on the 1866 Santa Cruz map. The street runs from Water Street to the beachfront at the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf entrance. North Pacific Avenue runs from Water Street to River Street.
