Pedro Chisem (no local burial found) was a developer who began the Piedmont Court project in 1912 but was unable to complete it because of financial reverses suffered elsewhere. In 1916 three "local investors" stepped in to complete the project: Bruce L. Sharpe, Frank Wilson (of the Wilson real estate family), and Robert C. Blossom.
