Edward Bowman (1841-1914) was a younger brother of Gustavus Bowman, and younger brother (or nephew?) of John Bowman. Edward Bowman acquired the Foster & Lake carriage-maker business on Front Street, changing the name to "Santa Cruz Carriage Works" in ~1884 (first "'Sentinel ad found with "E.
