Tragedy on the Cliff, subtitled "The Shooting of Sheriff Howard Trafton, Undersheriff Richard Rountree, and Paul Woodside", is an article by Greg Gardner in History Journal No. 8. Paul Woodside was a squatter who built himself a cabin on the side of a cliff above the beach at Seacliff.
