Hagemann Hotel was built on Pacific Ave. (across from the end of Maple Street where the Santa Cruz Metro Center is now) in 1892 by Frederick Hagemann. The name later changed to LaDora, then to Graystone Hotel, and it was demolished under that name in 1956 (photo right).
