Depot Park

Depot Park includes the site of the Southern Pacific RR Union Depot, built in 1893. The depot building was destroyed by fire in 1998, and the park design moved a separate freight depot building (formerly standing adjacent to the north end of the depot and home to the American Railway Express Agency) to approximately the depot's former location. The depot building was restored to approximately its original exterior appearance and repurposed to serve the park.
