The Westside neighborhood known as the Circles was laid out in 1890 by a church organization. A church was built in the center, surrounded by a unique residential subdivision of concentric circle streets connected by streets radiating out from the center circle. After a fire, a replacement church was built in 1959. The church buildings were demolished in 2025 after the property was rezoned for residential use. Houses are under construction in 2026.
