1003-1015 East Cliff Dr

The residences at 1001 and 1009 East Cliff Drive date from the 1880s, as shown in the MAH photo at right. The house at 1015, built in 1891 (after the MAH photo was taken), is item (1) in Chapter Eight of The Sidewalk Companion to Santa Cruz Architecture (4th ed. 2023). All three houses remain, as shown in the 2024 photos below.
