Hamilton, Robert E.
Robert E. Hamilton (no local burial found) is described in Guinn as born 1856 in Ireland, coming in 1876 to Santa Cruz. After ten years of farming, he became junior partner to Henry F. Parsons in the firm of Parsons & Hamilton, manufacturers of soap and glue. Hamilton's wife Elizabeth (1860-1960) was a Parsons daughter, born in Scotts Valley (per Find-a-Grave). Robert's older brother William (1850-1920) also came to Santa Cruz.
