Jacob Alt Blackburn (1823-1893) was a brother of Blackburn, William, and was a partner with William in early Branciforte Creek lumbering and sawmill operations. Son Frank also has a biography in Harrison.

Riptide also mentions Lazarre Godchaux (CE35), born in France, as an 1852 partner with Blackburn in a Watsonville store.
