Foster, Edward

Edward Foster (1839-1920), a native of Germany, had a blacksmith shop as late as 1876 at Front and Cooper streets, dba Foster & Lake with partner George Lake. By 1900, the shop (as seen in the photo detail at right) had changed name and ownership (Ely).
