Isaac H. Pierce (1821-1865. Note: the 1862 date of death shown on the website is incorrect) may have been an attorney. In 1864, he was appointed executor of the estate of William Nickerson. A house on Mission Street was built for Pierce in 1859. Another, on the Watsonville road (today's Soquel Avenue) was built in 1863. The widow Pierce sold that house to F. J. McCann in 1867.
