Guinn states that Stephen's father Perry emigrated from Switzerland to the PV with Louis Martinelli in 1852, but returned to Switzerland in 1864. The "Hatch map" index lists "Antone" Rianda as a P.V. landowner - probably either a relative, or misnaming in Guinn.
