Thomas Corcoran (ca.1826-1894 Stockton), born in Ireland, came to California in 1848, and to Santa Cruz County in the 1850s (probably). His later life was spent in Stockton, where he was known as an artist. Thomas joined the Society of Pioneers chapter in Stockton, but was elected to membership in Santa Cruz "by proxy" (Riptide) as well.

A note in History Journal Issue 4 says that a "Thomas Corcoran Letters" collection was (in 1998) held by the MAH Archives, but that collection is not listed in the current inventory.

Thomas does not appear to be related to James Corcoran.
