Mary [aka Mary] Antonelli (1858-1932), a native of Genoa, took over the Toscano Hotel on Front Street sometime around 1900. In 1929 she had a new "hotel and two stores" built in the same location. These buildings may have survived until the San Lorenzo Park Project cleared the area following the 1955 San Lorenzo River flood.
