'''Daniel Williams''' ([https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/87961576/daniel-williams 1840-1906]) had a two-story house designed by [[Williams, John H.|John Williams]] and built on Locust Street in 1888. An article posted to the Find-a-Grave page of his wife Mary Agnes (nee McGee) notes that she died at home on Locust Street, and that she was a devout Catholic, so it's likely that this is the right Daniel Williams. The house survives today, nicely preserved. It doesn't appear that Daniel was related to any of the others in Santa Cruz named Williams.

Daniel Williams (1840-1906) had a two-story house designed by John Williams and built on Locust Street in 1888.
