'''Isaac H. Pierce''' ([https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/128373623/isaac-h-pierce 1821-1865]. Note: the 1862 date of death shown on the website is incorrect) may have been an attorney. In 1864, he was appointed executor of the estate of [[Nickerson, William|William Nickerson]]. A house on Mission Street was built for Pierce in 1859. Another, on the Watsonville road (today's Soquel Avenue) was built in 1863. The widow Pierce sold that house to [[McCann, Ferdinand J.|F. J. McCann]] in 1867.
